Nokia Lumia 920 Review: The Game Changer Is Here!! (Part-1)

It is more than 2 weeks since I got my Nokia Lumia 920 in matte black finish, and there are so many things yet to explore!

Man..Nokia is back in business with its WP8 phone series and Lumia 920 being the flagship model, has changed the game for Nokia and brought the much awaited fortune to world's most trusted and beloved and adored Finnish cellphone maker!

In this article, we will just see the hardware and aesthetics part and some key features of Lumia 920 that make it stand apart in the crowd of smartphones.

The Appearance- The very first thing you notice about Lumia 920 is, it is a stunner! And a heavy weight stunner. (184 gms!) It comes in 5 colors. Black in matte finish and Red, Cyan, White, Yellow in glossy finish. But black looks absolutely outta this world!

It's heavy weight is a result of Nokia's revolutionary PureView camera sensor ( The same thing that comes in Nokia Pureview 808 with 41 MP camera) and the uni-body poly-carbonate build! It has a Micro-sim tray on the top along with a standard 3.5 MM audio jack port. And 3 standard Windows phone keys on the right. Volume rocker, Power and Shutter key. 

At the bottom there are 2 speaker grills and the Micro-USB charging port. Behind the phone is its unique and one of its kind Pure view 8.7 MP camera with dual LED lights. The Camera of Lumia 920 is altogether a different saga! We will see it in details later on. And the front is occupied by the gorgeous  and best in the market Pure Motion HD+ , 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass with corning,   capacitive touchscreen. The screen itself is also another epic story to tell. 

Front side also has a secondary camera with usual sensors and the ear-piece on the top. The lower part of the screen has three capacitive touch keys, back illuminated by white LED (which actually looks pretty awesome). A back button, Windows Home button and Bing Search key! 

This combination together forms a massive looker called- Nokia Lumia 920!

I have handled iPhone 3GS, 4S and have owned 2 Android smartphones before this. And I have been a huge fan of Android since a long time. And I must say WP8 is a cool new breeze in the IOS and Android dominated Cellphone OS market. The OS part will come in further discussions in details.

The Hardware- This tank comes loaded with the latest and the best in the market hardware.

Just to mention few things -
1.5 GHz Dual Core Krait CPU, Adreno 225 GPU, 1 GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset, 32 GB Storage, 2000 mAH Battery and what not! 

You can always check full specifications on Nokia site. The point here is, Nokia Lumia 920 is nowhere behind in the Android powerhouses hardware race..in fact much ahead of them in many senses.
